Justin Liles: Pleasant week to stick around

Our weather is going to be quiet until Friday. A cold front is set to roll through the region and create some light rain and possibly some thunderstorms. The majority of energy needed to create any stronger thunderstorms will be found in northwestern Wisconsin.

Storms won’t last long as drier air will take over rather quickly. This dry air will likely stick around for the weekend although Saturday will be much cooler following the cold front Friday. Winds will also be off the lake. Temperatures will likely climb into Labor Day and through the first full week of September.
