Mostly cloudy skies and light snow showers will prevail each day for the remainder of the week. A break in the snow arrives this weekend along with very cold air. Highs Saturday will only be in the single digits above and below zero. Attention shifts to the next clipper, expected to arrive late tonight. The next round Tuesday night into Wednesday looks to be lacking a ton of moisture, but the parts of the Arrowhead may see up to 2” of new snow along with areas of Wisconsin.

Light snow looks to linger through Wednesday and part of Thursday too. A second clipper arrives by the end of the week. For now, it looks like there is a decent chance of at least some snowfall Thursday night through Friday night, with the highest confidence during the day on Friday. Amounts, however, are far less certain but generally appear to be in the 1 to 3 inch range.
