Justin Liles: Mild start to week, colder air coming

Our milder temperatures will continue as we have a warm start to the workweek with above normal temperatures expected through Wednesday. There is a small chance we could see a few sprinkles tonight and tomorrow. There is a chance for some isolated thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon.

A pattern shift is coming Wednesday night with blustery north winds ushering in a colder air. Temperatures will take a plunge with highs expected in the 40s for Thursday. We may even see a few snowflakes mixed in with our rain chances. Sunshine does looks to return for the weekend but temperatures are still going to be slightly cooler than average. Overnight lows will likely see 32°F or less.

Tuesday: Isolated light sprinkles. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday: Light PM rain possible, Partly sunny, with a high near 67. West wind around 5 mph.
Thursday: A slight chance of showers before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 45. Breezy, with a north wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. Blustery, with a north wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45. Northwest wind around 5 mph.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
