We started the new workweek with some early morning thunderstorms, followed by breezy conditions. Some lingering showers are possible tonight north of the Twin Ports. Some additional rain along with a few thunderstorms are possible. The middle part of the week is looking rather pleasant with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.

Winds will be breezy out of the west so temperatures by the lake will be closer to 80°F. Tuesday through Thursday will be great beach days for those who may have a little time left before going back to school. Our next shot of rain doesn’t look to arrive until late Thursday into Friday. Once the small chance for Friday is over, we are in for a great Labor Day Weekend.
