A quiet stretch of weather is expected between the systems we just had roll through and a new one expected Thursday. Snow will linger this evening east of the Twin Ports. Winds will turn off the lake, pick up intensity by tomorrow night, and last through Thursday. The new weather maker will slide farther south and east of the Twin Ports. The head of the lake and north shore could see anywhere from 2-4” of snow. Area east of Superior may see anywhere from 6-10” of snow. Especially east of Ashland in the higher terrain.

Road conditions will deteriorate Wednesday night through Thursday in Wisconsin. This is where the worst of the travel is supposed to be. Temperatures satay mild through the weekend but winds will be a bit gustier on Sunday. Another round of light snow is possible by Monday.
