Right now, the Northland is sandwiched between a large ridge forming over the Rockies and a deep trough over the eastern 2/3rds of the country. Northwest flow has continued its path over the region and lead to weaker impulses across the International Border. These impulses coupled with daytime heating will lead to scattered showers and thunderstorms.

As we head into the evening hours, more fog is likely going to develop overnight into Thursday morning. Besides the fog, additional rain and storms return Thursday afternoon and evening. Friday is now looking to be wet all day and last until Saturday afternoon. The best and driest day over the weekend will be Sunday. As shift in the weather pattern returns next week.
