Hoops Brewing and Duluth’s Best Bread team up
Hoops Brewing hosted a launch party to help promote their new beer on Thursday night. The event offered kid- friendly activities and games as well as educational experiences and samples for the adults. Guests were able to learn about the art of brewing beer and baking bread from staff from both Hoops Brewing and Duluth’s Best Bread.
According to event officials, the two companies partnered to create a hefeweizen to help appreciate the traditions of brewing and baking. “We are thrilled to partner with Duluth’s Best Bread and embark on this journey to create a beer that reflects unique artisan flavors,” said Ingrid Johnson, Director of Marketing and Events at Hoops Brewing. “The Duluth’s Best Bread Hefeweizen is a celebration of our shared dedication to traditional techniques and quality ingredients.” Both the hefeweizen and sourdough are made with purified water from Lake Superior, wheat, and yeast.
This partnership is just one part of a summer-fall series with Duluth’s Best Bread. They will also be partnering with other local companies including Canal Park Brewing Company, Bent Paddle, Blacklist Brewing and more.
