AMOSIL Arena will move to a cashless system with Hockey Season

AMSOIL Arena will move to a cashless system beginning in October 2023. AMSOIL Arena, part of the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC), will exclusively use digital payments for all entertainment. Apple Pay and Contactless cards will be accepted for the upcoming UMD hockey season (Men’s & Women’s games).

The DECC is following the industry’s lead to only accept credit, debit, and contactless payment. This change is exclusive to AMSOIL Arena and will not affect other venues or events at the DECC not taking place in AMSOIL Arena.

The AMSOIL Arena parking lot will also still accept cash payments. Guests will be able to convert cash to a DECC concession card at the AMSOIL Box Office located on the skywalk level of AMSOIL Arena.

Concession cards do not expire and can be used to pay for food, drinks, and alcohol. Merchandise vendors like the UMD Bulldog Shop and Merch Tables at entertainment events are responsible for their own payment process and may still take cash if they wish.
