One man arrested in Duluth in possession of over 1,200 fentanyl pills

According to the Duluth Police Department (DPD), on Tuesday, January 9th, the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task force and the DPD arrested a 21-year-old man in the 800 block of N 11th Ave E.
In the past, the man had been arrested for being in possession of firearms and is currently on probation for a gun charge out of Wisconsin.
The DPD surveilled the man’s residence and detained him as he was in the process of delivering fentanyl pills. During a search warrant, 1,288 fentanyl pills were seized, as well as a loaded Glock 17 9mm, Gen 4 with a 30-round extended magazine, a loaded Springfield Hellcat 9mm, a CZ shadow 9mm, a Pistol Frame Micro Conversion Kit for the Glock and ammo.
The 21-year-old man was taken to the St. Louis County Jail for Aggravated 1st Degree Sale of Fentanyl and Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
