Brave Art Youth Exhibition marks the beginning of trafficking awareness month

January marks Human Trafficking Awareness Month nationally and The Duluth Minnesota Trafficking Awareness group is hosting events throughout the Twin Ports this month to raise recognition for the issue.

To start off the month, there is an opening ceremony featuring the 2024 Brave Art Youth Exhibition. Youth from around the community submitted their artwork to be displayed for all to see. This year’s theme was “Protection through Connection”.

The opening ceremony is Monday, January 8th from 5 to 6 p.m. at AICHO (202 W 2nd St, Duluth, MN), with the art exhibition open house immediately after going until 7:30 p.m.
