The Webster Dream Park in Superior is receiving a significant upgrade.

Kalee Hermanson’s daughter was the catalyst for the all-inclusive, all-abilities playground, which started being built in 2019.

Now a sensory garden is being added.

It’s a place where you can go to just dive into your senses.

"We have, I would say probably 25-50 different flowers, trees, bushes that all have some kind of senses. There’s some plants that you can eat, so you can taste them, you can hear them, you can see them, and you can smell them," said Hermanson.

Hermanson says the garden is also meant to provide an escape for both kids and adults.

When the sensory garden is done, the park will be 90 percent complete. Hermanson says they are also hoping to add some annual flowers next year.
