Wilderness open weekend series with win over Janesville

The Minnesota Wilderness NAHL team beat the Janesville Jet’s on Friday by the final score of 3-1.

Bo Cosman opened the scoring with his 11th goal of the season in the first period.

The goal was assisted by former Hermantown Hawk Beau Janzig, his 13th assist on the year.

The Jet’s tied the game in the second period, but Brian Lonergan broke the deadlock with his third goal of the season.

As the Wilderness won 3-1, they are second in the division with seven games left in the regular season.
