On Friday, the University of Wisconsin-Superior volleyball team won both games of the Stinger Classic, hosted at UWS.

In the first game, UWS beat Northland College in four sets, although each set was decided by six or less points.

A big part of UWS’ success was their play up front, as they notched 51 kills in the four sets, in comparison to Northland College’s 38.

UWS also beat Saint Mary’s in three sets, 25-19, 26-24, 25-20.

UWS continues the Stinger Classic tomorrow, with games against Concordia College at 10:00 a.m. and St. Scholastica at 2 p.m.
