UWS Softball’s season comes to close with 10-3 loss in NCAA tournament

In their 6th appearance in the NCAA tournament in the programs history, the University of Wisconsin-Superior softball team couldn’t come away with a win, and ended their season on Friday thanks to a 10-3 loss against Bethel.

The Yellowjackets allowed two runs in the top of the first inning, which would eventually be the tone setter.

UWS was able to bounce back thanks to a Zoe Thomson two run blast to tie the game up, but that would be the only scoring for them until the 7th inning when an error helped UWS out.

The Yellowjackets finish the season with a 26-15 record.
