UWS send Lynch, Stankiewicz to NCAA indoor track and field championships

UW-Superior men’s track and field all-stars Garrett Lynch and Gage Stankiewicz, who is an Esko native, both qualified Sunday for the 2023 NCAA indoor track and field championships.
This is Stankiewicz second time in his career making the event, with a qualifying mark of 16.01 Meters in shot put.
While Lynch is making his first trip to the national meet, posted a point total of 4,788 points in the NCAA qualifier, which established a new school record in heptathlon.
The event will be held at the Birmingham Crossplex, in Alabama next weekend.
