UWS men’s & women’s soccer punch tickets to UMAC title games

On Wednesday both the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) men’s and women’s soccer teams picked up Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) semifinal wins at home punching their tickets back to the championship games.

The top-seeded UWS men downed Crown College 6-1. Phillip Eriksen scored two goals while Isaac Becket tallied his first collegiate goal for the Yellowjackets.

UWS (15-3-2) hosts second seeded Bethany Lutheran College in the UMAC title game Saturday at Noon. For the men’s bracket, click here.

Also the top-seed the UWS women shut out Crown 6-0 to stay undefeated in conference play, now 13-0-1 in the UMAC and 14-3-4 overall. They will host the second seeded University of Northwestern Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
