UWS men’s, women’s basketball top Northland College

The University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) men’s and women’s basketball teams both hosted both Northland College squads on Saturday.
The men’s team took a 44-30 lead into the half time break and never looked back.
J’Vaun Walker lead all Yellowjackets with 17 point, while Josef Fahrenholtz collected a total of eight rebounds.
UWS won the match by the final score of 79-62.
On the women’s side of the Lumber Jill’s Miranda Wagner led all players with 19 points and two assist.
Yellowjackets Kaelyn Christian was right behind with 12 points of her own as UWS won 72-38.
