UWS men’s soccer shuts out Bethel in home opener

On Wednesday the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) men’s soccer team shut out Bethel University 2-0 in their home opener at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex.
Gavin Watkinson scored in the first half and Blake Perry scored in the second, off a Watkinson assist, to lead the Yellowjackets to their first win.
UWS (1-1) will hit the road Saturday to take on Concordia College Moorhead at 1 p.m.
