UWS men’s soccer returns home picking up fifth straight win over Northwestern

The University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) men’s soccer team kicked off their first home game in a month on Wednesday topping Northwestern University 2-1 to earn their fifth straight win.

Mackie Ringrose scored the first goal of the game for UWS halfway through the first half. The Eagles tied it up in the second off of a Tim DeLoye header. In the 66th minute Blake Perry would net his 11th goal of the season to secure the Yellowjacket’s victory.

This is UWS’ 14th straight win over Northwestern.

The Yellowjackets (7-2-1) remain undefeated in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play (5-0-1) and will next host North Central University Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
