UWS Men’s soccer musters tie in home opener

The University of Wisconsin-Superior Men’s soccer team tied the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Sunday night, 1-1.
The match, which was UWS’ home opener, was originally slated for a 5:00 p.m. start, but with elevated temperatures, the game was pushed back to a 7:30 start.
In the first half, UW-Eau Claire accrued two yellow cards, proving that the match was a physical one.
UWS moves to 1-1-1 on the season, while UW-Eau Claire moves to 1-0-1.
