The University of Wisconsin (UWS) softball team was able to squeeze in two home games last weekend, defeating Northland College 8-0 then 16-0 in a doubleheader.

The complete performance earned Yellowjacket freshman Bella Garley Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Pitcher of the Week honors.

Getting the start in game one Saturday, Garley threw a shutout surrendering just three hits while striking out five batters.
