On Friday the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s basketball’s Drew Blair landed on the Bevo Francis Award Top 25 Watch List.

Blair, a fifth year guard, currently leads the Bulldogs in points with 720, rebounds with 158, and steals with 39.

He’s scored at least 20 points in 22 games this season, including a season high 38 points in their Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) semifinal. The award winner will be announced April 8.

Also on Friday, Blair was named to the D2CCA All Central Region First Team.

Blair and UMD open the NCAA tournament Saturday battling Fort Hays State at Noon in the Central Regional quarterfinals in Mankato.
