UMD women’s hockey battles to OT win against Mankato

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey team erased a 3-1 deficit against Minnesota State on Friday, winning 4-3 in overtime.

Gabbie Hughes tied the game in the third period of play recording her second point of the afternoon forcing overtime.

Mannon McMahon scored the overtime winner, capping of a 41 shot performance from the Bulldogs.

Hailey MacLeod finished the game with a total of 15 saves on 18 shots.
