UMD women’s basketball team adds new assistant coaches

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s basketball team is making some new additions to their coaching staff before the 2022 season.

Welcoming two new assistant coaches in the form of Ryan Carpenter and Cici Kieger.

Carpenter is joining the Bulldogs from the University of Jamestown.

Brining with him 13 years of experience coaching at both the high school and collegiate level.

Last year his Jamestown squad boasted a record of 18-13.

UMD women's basketball huddles at Romano Gym.

Cici Kieger comes to Duluth from St.Cloud State.

She played on their basketball team from the 2018 to 2020 season, then was named their assistant coach last year.
