UMD Volleyball falls in heartbreaking NSIC semifinal
The sixth seeded UMD volleyball team was just a few points away from upsetting the second seed, Concordia St. Paul on Saturday night, but ultimately fell short in the NSIC semifinal, losing in 5 sets.
After falling in the first set, the Bulldogs rallied to win the next two, winning the second set 25-22 behind a crucial Concordia St. Paul service error. In the third set, the two teams went back and forth until the Bulldogs eventually pulled out the set win, 25-19.
