UMD softball lands 5th in NSIC Preseason Poll, Baseball comes in 7th

On Wednesday the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) preseason softball polls were released and the University of Minnesota (UMD) landed fifth.
Additionally, junior Lauren Dixon was named Preseason Pitcher of the Year. The Bulldogs open their season February 3 against Concordia-St. Paul in Mankato.
UMD baseball landed seventh in their NSIC preseason poll. Their season opener is March 3 against Gannon University in Florida.
