UMD men’s hockey stifled by #4 North Dakota

Friday night was one that the UMD men’s hockey team would like to forget, as they were blanked 6-0 against #4 North Dakota.

The Fighting Hawks had their way with the Bulldogs early on, taking a 3-0 lead before the end of the first period.

In the second, they would add two more goals to put the game out of reach.

In the third period, one Fighting Hawks goal would be the insurance to keep UMD out of the game for good.

UMD only managed to put 17 shots on net, with Luke Bast leading the team with five.

The Bulldogs will look for a win on Saturday, as they face the Fighting Hawks once more at 6:07 p.m.
