The UMD men’s hockey team is in the home stretch of their season, with Colorado College next on the docket.

The consensus around the Bulldogs locker room is that it’s now or never.

“No, there’s no secret to this game,” said Scott Sandelin, UMD’s head coach. “You know, you’re working harder, you’re competing, you’re in it. When your intensity level’s good, usually your execution levels better.”

“A lot of the past few weeks, it’s just being ready to play right away,” said Owen Gallatin, a junior defenseman. “If we’re ready right from the jump, that can turn the tide of the game immediately. But I think that’s the biggest thing we got to worry about.”

UMD split the series at AMSOIL Arena back in mid January, so they’ll look to grab the season series when the puck drops on Friday night at 8 p.m..
