UMD men’s hockey hold on to lead against Miami

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team beat Miami of Ohio on Friday 3-2.

Luke Loheit opened the scoring for the Bulldogs in the first period.

A little over five minutes later Darian Gotz would score from a point shot to make it a 2-0 lead.

UMD would register 38 total shots on goal in the three periods of play.

Rematch against the Redhawks is set for 8:30 p.m. Saturday night.
