UMD men’s hockey forces winner takes all game three against St. Cloud

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team kept their season alive on Saturday tying their best of three NCHC playoff series with St. Cloud State winning 5-1.

St. Cloud scored the opening goal of the game, however UMD’s Carter Loney tied the game up in the first.

Three Minutes into the second it was Wyatt Kaiser getting the go ahead goal for the Bulldogs.

Ben Steeves and Dominic James then scored 16 seconds apart to make it a 4-1 game.

The series will be decided in game three, Sunday night at 6:00 p.m.
