UMD men’s hockey falls to Omaha after surrendering 3 third period goals

The UMD men’s hockey team fell to Omaha on Friday night, 5-1, after allowing three third period goals.

Omaha got on the board just five minutes into game action despite the Bulldogs being on the power play.

Omaha then scored again before UMD scored their first, as Matthew Perkins found the back of the net to cut the deficit to 2-1.

After a scoreless second period, Omaha scored three unanswered to put up a crooked number, including two goals in the last two minutes.

UMD will look for a win on Saturday at 7 p.m.
