UMD women’s basketball secure NSIC title, men top Minot

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s basketball team beat Minot State on Saturday.

With the win the team also earns at least a share of the NSIC title for the third season in a row.

The women came away with a 63-41 victory, extending their current win streak to for games.

Brooke Olson lead the offense in the game, recording 20 points.

Taytum Rhoades also was a force in the passing department with five total assist.

The Bulldogs men also took on Minot, they were down 36-32 going into the locker room at half time.

From there they outscored Minot State 39-27, thanks in part to a 13 point performance from Jack Middleton.

As the Bulldogs won back-to-back games, winning on Saturday 71-63.
