The UMD dance team placed 2nd in the open jazz category and 3rd in the open pom category at Nationals in Orlando, Florida.

It’s the second year in a row that UMD has taken home medals in both categories.

The University of Minnesota, Mankato State, St. Thomas, St. Cloud State, and St. Ben’s would all compete in the finals.
