The Superior softball team checked all the boxes in their home opener on Thursday, beating Rock Ridge 7-0.

The Spartans allowed only two hits to a Rock Ridge team that was red hot coming into the matchup.

The Spartans, now 3-1, next take on Grantsburg on Saturday while Rock Ridge looks to bounce back against Cambridge-Isanti.
