Superior hires Bobbijean Gidley as new head softball coach
Bobbijean Gidley has been hired as the new Superior head softball coach, as Mike Sather retired after almost two decades as the head of the Spartans.
Bobbijean Gidley has been hired as the new Superior head softball coach, as Mike Sather retired after almost two decades as the head of the Spartans.
Gidley was the Spartans junior varsity coach before the recent promotion, and previously coached Proctor’s JV team as well.
Gidley also has roots to Superior, as she is a former UW-Superior softball player and alum.
The softball team is expected to open the season on March 28th as the Spartans will host Rice Lake at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex.
