Superior, Hermantown baseball top Grand Rapids Monday

The Superior Spartans baseball team topped Grand Rapids 11-9 on Monday, while the Thunderhawks also fell in the other game of their doubleheader against Hermantown 8-3.
With the win the Spartans improve to 3-2 on the early season.
Next up the team is back home against Duluth Denfeld this Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
The Hawks had four previous games canceled so Monday was just their second of the year, they are now 2-0.
Next game for them will be this Wednesday at Proctor, first pitch set for 5:00 p.m.
