Monday marked the regular season finale for the Superior boy’s soccer team.
The Spartans were looking to close things out with back-to-back wins, facing a once beaten Spooner/Shell Lake squad.
Superior’s Darrel James opened the scoring just 10 minutes into the game.
Caden Holden picked up a shutout in the match, as Superior won 2-0. They out the regular season with a record of 8-9-2.
