Thursday night South Ridge girls basketball edged Cromwell-Wright by one point 30-29 in a battle between two of the top teams in the Polar League Conference.

With the win the Panthers improve to 18-4, rebounding from a loss to Chisholm Tuesday that ended their 10 game winning streak. South Ridge next visits Moose Lake/Willow River Monday at 7:15 p.m. They have four regular season games remaining.

Cromwell-Wright (15-7) next hosts Cherry Monday at 7 p.m. in their regular season home finale.
