Rock Ridge girls, Cloquet boys win Section 7AA golf championships

The Section 7AA golf championships teed off at Giants Ridge on Thursday. The top boys and girls teams and top five individuals outside of that advance to state.
The Rock Ridge girls finished first scoring a 779, and the Cloquet boys won with a score of 607.
Individually, International Falls’ Kelby Anderson scored a 163 to claim back-to-back 7AA girls championships, and Cloquet’s Karson Young won the boys title with a score of 142.
The Class AA state tournament is June 13-14 at Ridges at Sand Creek.
