Record number of swimmers registered for Pointe to La Pointe swim

The Pointe to La Pointe Swim is just around the corner, set to take place Saturday, August 6th.
Back this year is the origional route which will take the swimmers from the starting point of Bayfield, then swiming 2.2 Miles across the open water of Lake Superior. To then conclude the race at Madeline Island.
The race is one of the top 30 open water swims in the U.S, this years event has a record setting 650 swimmers registered.
