Races set to begin in May for Northland Speedways

Racing season is only weeks away in the Northland and Sunday spokesmen Halvor Lines, Grand Rapids and Gondik Law speedways held media day, outlining all events that fans can enjoy this summer.

“We have some promotions that are coming up this year, we’re going to do some door to door fliers along with other things. So we’re hoping for really good events at Halvor Lines Speedway and we love to have you all come and join us on a Sunday nights. We are wishing the best of luck to our fellow tracks and best wishes to our drivers. I want to see a lot of fans out there for a good show,” said series spokesman Dennis McCauley.

The Halvor Lines Speedway in Poctor’s first scheduled event will be open practice May 6th and the season opener May 7th.

Other tracks in attendance were the Gondik Law Speedway in Superior with their open practices beginning on May 3rd and opening night on the 5th.
