Prep Volleyball: Hermantown tops Esko in 5, Grand Rapids falls to North Branch

In prep volleyball action on Tuesday Hermantown would take down Esko on the road, while Grand Rapids fell to North Branch at home.
Hermantown would spoil Esko’s season and home opener earning the 3-2 win after taking set five 15-13. The Hawks improve to 2-0.
In Grand Rapids the Thunderhawks would suffer a 3-1 loss to North Branch. Grand Rapids dropped a close set one 29-27, then fell in set two 25-15. They rallied to win set three 30-28 but dropped the fourth and final set 25-22. Grand Rapids now sits 1-2 on the season.
