Prep Volleyball: Hermantown, Mesabi East & Grand Rapids earn road wins

In prep volleyball action Thursday Hermantown, Mesabi East, and Grand Rapids all earned shutout wins on the road.
Hermantown defeated Duluth Denfeld 3-0 to improve to 7-1. The Hawks next visit Pine City Monday. Denfeld (4-12) next plays Brainerd Saturday in the Greyhound Invitational at Duluth East.
Mesabi East defeated Duluth Marshall 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-14) improving to 10-3. The Giants next visit Chisholm Tuesday, while the Hilltoppers (6-5) visit Aitkin Monday.
Grand Rapids got revenge over Bemidji beating them 3-0 after dropping their home opener to the Lumberjacks late August 3-2. The Thunderhawks (10-5) next visit Proctor Tuesday.
