Prep Volleyball: Duluth East wins, Superior advances in playoffs

This week marks the final week of the prep volleyball regular season.
On Thursday Duluth East visited Duluth Marshall. The Toppers’ Kyla Rosman kept Marshall ahead early leading set one 2-0. The Greyhounds would come back and tie the set at three with spikes from Abigail Schintz. In the end, the Greyhounds came out on top, winning 3-0.
Superior went head-to-head with Menomonie in round 1 of the WIAA Regional. Spartans were already up two sets to one when Mahlea Waters gets the points for the Spartans to put them in the lead 6-2. Superior wins in four sets. They will travel to River Falls on Saturday.
