Prep Volleyball: Duluth Denfeld and Esko earn wins in five sets

Going into Thursday’s game, Floodwood sat at the top of the Polar League with an overall record of 14-6, looking for a win against Esko.
The Eskomos had other plans and topped Floodwood, winning 3-2 (25-8, 25-20, 18-25, 23-25, 15-6). Floodwood was led by Kylie Hart with 34 set assists, Kenzie Kiminski with nine kills, and Alice Irvine with 21 digs.
In the cross-town clash, Duluth Denfeld met Duluth Marshall on the Hilltoppers’ court. Ada Skafte tied the score at six to keep the first set close. The Hunters win 3-2.
