Prep Soccer: Cloquet-Carlton, Duluth East girls & Hermantown boys earn shut out wins, Superior draws with Rice Lake

In Northland prep soccer action on Tuesday the Cloquet-Carlton and Duluth East girls, and Hermantown boys all picked up shut out wins, while the Superior and Rice Lake boys played to a draw.

Cloquet-Carlton shut down Proctor 5-0 at Egerdahl Field to improve to 4-1. Alexa Snesrud struck first sparking a 3-0 run by the Lumberjacks in the first four minutes.

Duluth East topped Duluth Marshall 5-0 on the road. Grace Karakas netted the first goal for the Greyhounds in the first half.

Hermantown scored three first half goals to hold off Hibbing 3-0 at home. Wylee Arro, Vincent Trok, and Thomas Flanagan scored for the Hawks.

In Superior, the Spartans and Rice Lake each scored in the second half and would end the game in a 1-1 draw. Wyatt Tischler scored the sole goal for Superior.
