No. 2 Northwestern football opens round one of playoffs with convincing home win

The postseason kicked off for Wisconsin football teams on Friday, as Northwestern brought a 9-0 record and the number two seed into Round 1 of the playoffs. The Tigers had home-field advantage on the seventh seeded Stanley Boyd.

Late in the first quarter, Tigers’ Luke Sedin hands off to Kellen Trautt, and he battles his way across the line for the Tigers’ first touchdown.

In the second quarter, Tigers Tanner Kaufman turned his gas on, finds open space to his right, and ran up the middle for a touchdown.
