In prep basketball action, Duluth Marshall girl’s hoops beat Pillager 86-35 to advance into the quarterfinals of the Section 7AA tournament, while Cloquet beat Proctor 93-53 in regular season action.

Duluth Marshall handled Pillager from start to finish, showing the rest of the section why they were the #3 seed in the section.

Duluth Marshall hosts Mesabi East on Saturday for a chance at the semifinals.

Cloquet beat Proctor in what was a back and forth game, but eventually the Lumberjacks were just too strong, imposing their will on Proctor.

Both teams will await their playoff matchups.
