In prep basketball on Thursday, the Duluth Denfeld boys, Esko and Superior girls all earned home wins.

At Duluth Denfeld, the Hunters defeated Duluth Marshall 82-48. Ethan Starstead led Denfeld with 21 points while Marnaries Ferguson added 15. Denfeld improves to 7-5 while Marshall now sits 5-5.

At Esko, the girls downed Hibbing 72-35. Esko improves to 9-5 while Hibbing falls to 2-11.

In Superior, the Spartans handed Rice Lake just their third loss winning 51-44. Eva Peterson led Superior with 16 points while Kloe Zentkowski added 14. The Spartans improve to 9-6 while Rice Lake now sits 11-3.
