On Saturday, October 12th, The University of Minnesota at Duluth football team will kick off their final game of the regular season.

The Bulldogs will trek to Northern State with a 7-3 record, still clinging onto a shot at a national tournament berth. They will be needing this road win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

“We have put ourselves in a position where we still have an opportunity to be in the national playoffs with a win. Probably not the ideal position we want to be in heading into the last week, but we still do have an opportunity. Our guys understand this is a big game for us,” said Head Coach Curt Wiese.

Graduate Tight End Zach Ojile shared, “I’ve been really blessed to spend my time here and have a successful career, and it’s just been a blast. I am looking forward to Saturday and seeing what could happen.”

A Bemidji State loss to The University of Mary would also help the Bulldogs with a shot at the national tournament berth. UMD kicks off at Northern State (6-4) on Saturday at 1 pm.
